A very exciting weekend lays ahead for LBI, kicking off at the 8th annual ImportFest car show at the Metro Toronto Convention Center on Saturday September 6th. Come out & see all the cars, girls & special features.. and come get your photos taken with the LBI Lost Angels! On the same day the other half of the LBI crew will be a short distance away at the Virgin Music Festival on Toronto Island, which leads into Sunday September 7th also. With a huge line-up of bands including Oasis, Foo Fighters, Bloc Party, The Kooks, MGMT, Moby and many more. Thanks to everyone who came out in support of the 1st Annual Mark Wynnyk Memorial Ride this passed weekend! Pictures of riders with the Lost Angels will be posted soon. The fund raised a significant amount in pledges which will go towards helping troubled youth with scholarships & training to better their futures.

This Saturday July 12th, the Lost Boys crew will be sponsoring the Mark Wynnyk Memorial Fund's first annual Cruisin' For Kids - Fallen Rider's Memorial Ride, & will have a display booth at the lunch stop location, along with a ton of custom chopper displays; including one of only two existing Indian Larry Tribute bikes at the Acton Legion in Acton, ON. If you are not participating in the ride and still want to come out & see some amazing choppers, grab some LBI swag & have your pictures taken with the Lost Angels girls, be there by noon!

This month an article based on the history & business profile of LBI was featured in IN-Burlington Magazine; a regional business publication that can be found at most boutiques in the area. There was also an article written on our charity efforts with the Mark Wynnyk Tribute Shirt, which was in the Burlington Post on May 11th, the 1 year anniversary of Mark's passing. Yesterday LBI MX racer Brandon Bill placed 2nd overall at the CMRC MX-1 Beginner qualifiers, & will now be racing in the finals at the upcoming 2008 CMRC Pro MX Nationals on August 16th & 17th in Walton, ON. Come out & support him & meet the LBI crew, because we will be there all weekend long!

Our online store will finally be completed by this weeks end. We are currently running tests over the next few days to verify and guarantee that everything works perfectly. Lost Boys Inc. was featured twice this past week on Much Music and also at the televised Recreate benefit concert (a non profit organization that helps youth off the streets with art programs) on CBC. LBI helped support the cause, by donating a shirt to the benefit fundraising auction and also gave shirts to the featured guests, Bedouin Soundclash. The special will air this fall. This is a sad day for all of us here at LBI.. while on his way to this afternoons scheduled photo shoot, our very dear friend and LBI-MX team rider; Mark Wynnyk; 27, was involved in a traffic accident which claimed his young life. This news has crushed us and everyone who knew Mark. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wynnyk family at this time.
